Steve Whysall

Born in Nottingham, England, Steve Whysall has been the garden columnist for The Vancouver Sun in B.C. for more than a decade.  His “In the Garden” page appears every Friday in the ‘At Home’ section and his stories are reprinted in many other papers across Canada.  He is the author or three books – 100 Best Plants for the Coastal Garden, The Blooming Great Gardening Book (both best sellers in B.C.) and 100 Best Plants for Ontario Gardens.  In 1999 he was named Communicator of the Year by the B.C. Landscape and Nursery Association.  In addition to being a regular lecturer at garden shows and garden clubs throughout B.C. as well as doing numerous TV spots, he has also written for magazines, including Gardens West and GardenWise.  Website – www.stevewhysall.com
