Linda Moore

A native Washingtonian, Linda co-founded Goosefoot in 1999 and became the organization’s first Executive Director in May of 2004. She was named Chairman and CEO in November 2005. In keeping with the rural traditions of community and community responsibility, Linda leads Goosefoot in its mission to contribute to the continuity of the rural character of Island County through the preservation and protection of its historic buildings and natural environment, the sponsoring of sustainable development, the support of its rural economy and the creation of affordable housing.  Linda received her Doctorate in Law in 1977.  In 1986, Ms. Moore became a Partner with Preston, Thorgrimson, Gates & Ellis in Seattle. In 1996 she created and continues to own Integrated Solutions, a legal and financial services firm providing economic development services to rural communities. Linda’s 24 years of real estate and housing development has served to deliver a unique combination of law, finance, development, good humor and tenacity required to work at the crossroads of affordable housing, jobs, sustainable development technologies and community in rural areas.  Website: www.goosefoot.org.

 

Bob Frause

A thirty-year communications veteran, Bob Frause of The Frause Group counsels clients in the areas of public relations, public affairs, advertising, marketing, and business analysis. Frause has provided communications counsel for many environmental clients, including the King County (WA) Department of Natural Resources. He also served as local counsel to the President’s Council on Sustainable Development.  Frause holds a BA in Journalism from Seattle University. He has written extensively on public relations, marketing and ethics for local and national publications, including Total Quality Environmental Management and the Puget Sound Business Journal. Frause is co-author of The Environmental Marketing Imperative (Probus, Chicago, IL).  Website: www.frause.com.
