Dr. Ray Maleike
Dr. Ray Maleike is a retired Associate Professor of Horticulture for Washington State University. For 19 years he was a WSU Extension Horticulturist, working extensively with the nursery industry and commercial landscape plant managers. He has also been very active teaching Master Gardener classes statewide for over 25 years, developing the teaching curriculum for many subjects, including botany, plant science, pruning, landscape plants and horticulture. He has written numerous WSU Extension Bulletins, including ‘Landscape Plants,’ ‘Pruning Landscape Trees,’ ‘Fall Color of Landscape Plants’ and others.
