Mary Robson has written the weekly gardening column “The Practical Gardener” for the Seattle Times since 1993. She is the author of the popular Gardener’s Guide, Washington & Oregon (Cool Springs Press, 2005) and her newest book, Month by Month Gardening, Washington & Oregon will be released in January, 2006. From 1987 to 2004 she served as a WSU Horticulture Extension Agent, providing solid, practical advice to garden problems to thousands over the years. She is a member of the Garden Writers of America.
